Wine Enthusiast gave the "Exczellenz" Sacrache Vineyard cab 97 points, calling it "a neutron star, with massive power packed into a concentrated mass." Environmental responsibility and fabulous product need not be mutually exclusive -- hallelujah.
Wines From India Earning organic certification takes time and commitment, with requirements varying from state to state. California requires farmers to account for all products used over the course of a year. "They do site visits, looking for visual clues in the field," says Reynolds. "You can see if people have been farming organically." He didn't mind the site visits, he didn't mind the eye-crossing amount of paperwork. What he minds is how confusing the concept of organic has become for the consumer. HALL is a certified organic farm, which is not the same as organic wine.
India Wine Wine can be slapped with an organic label but that means the wine produced contains no added sulfites. The winemaker is not responsible for how the grapes themselves are grown. Organic farming, as HALL does, means the actual raising and harvesting of grapes has been done naturally, with no chemical additives, pesticides or fertilizers. It's green from the stem of the vine to the stem of the wineglass.

Wines From India And we are talking about some of the wineries most at risk as the industry battles one of the biggest slumps in its recent history. Which is only one of the reasons we should be supporting them. The other is best demonstrated by the results from the Royal Easter Show Wine Awards, the first of a new round of competitions which will, throughout the year, reward excellence in viticulture and winemaking , not to mention the passion of people who in some cases stake their futures on the wines that they produce.
