Democrat and Chronicle cited a report that wine sales in supermarkets would be a "win" for the state coffers. According to a Wegmans spokesman, the state's net of $22 million per year in fees constituted a "win" for New York state wineries because Wegmans supermarkets vowed to promote New York wines.
Wine Business In India The report also claimed that supermarket wine sales would cause demand for wines to go up "anywhere from 20 to 300 percent." A Cornell University professor provided these findings in an issue of Rural New York Minute.
